About Neil
Neil is a passionate and highly experienced IB, IGCSE, AS & A Level English Language and Literature tutor with over 32 years of international teaching experience across South Africa, Eswatini, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Malaysia, and Kenya.
He holds an Honours degree in Educational Drama and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cape Town. Throughout his career, Neil has supported students across leading international curricula, including the IB Diploma Programme, Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, and IEB, helping learners develop confidence, analytical ability, and strong academic communication skills.
His teaching combines creativity, structure, and empathy — helping students develop their own voice while mastering the skills required for academic success. He supports students with essay structure, argument development, literary analysis, comparative studies, research skills, and exam technique.
