The first lesson is about chemistry, not commitment. Not the right match? We'll replace your tutor - no questions asked.

Tell us within 24 hours of that first lesson. We arrange one replacement with a tutor who fits the curriculum, subject and the way your child learns. There is no fee for the replacement and no long-term contract to cancel.

How the promise works

If the first lesson is not the right fit, we replace the tutor.

    Your child has their first lesson. See whether the tutor's teaching style and personality are a good fit.

What's covered

The Right Tutor Fit Promise applies to a student's first paid tutoring package.

24-hour window

If the initial lesson is not the right fit, a request for a replacement tutor must be submitted within 24 hours of the lesson ending.

We replace your tutor

Global Tutors will arrange a replacement tutor for your next session - no questions asked. Standard rates apply for the new tutor.

  • One replacement per package

    The promise is limited to one tutor replacement per package.

  • Same subject and curriculum

    The replacement must be for the same subject and curriculum as the original.

  • One-to-one sessions

    The promise applies only to one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Additional notes

  • The replacement tutor session is charged at standard rates. We do not offer free sessions.
  • Global Tutors reserves the right to decline requests that fall outside these terms or where there is evidence of misuse.

The promise covers that first lesson. If the pace, the subject focus, or the way the lesson was explained was not right for your child, tell us what felt wrong and we use that when we choose the replacement. You can keep the new tutor for the rest of the package, or stay with the original tutor if you change your mind before the replacement lesson.
