Alexander

Alexander brings together an engineering mindset, strong academic foundations and a genuine interest in helping students understand how Mathematics and Physics connect to the real world. His background in Mechatronics Engineering, alongside practical experience in engineering, automation, Python and machine learning, gives him an applied perspective that extends beyond the classroom.

Having successfully completed the Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level pathway, achieving A grades in Mathematics, Physics and Accounting, Alexander understands the academic demands of the Cambridge curriculum from first-hand experience. He combines this perspective with a clear, structured and patient approach, helping students develop stronger problem-solving skills and confidence in their own ability.

Alexander focuses on helping students understand why a method works, rather than simply memorising procedures. He breaks challenging concepts into manageable steps, building understanding and confidence before progressing towards independent problem-solving and exam readiness. His approach is clear, structured and patient, encouraging students to think critically and develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar problems.

He is particularly well suited to students who enjoy STEM subjects, are considering engineering or technology-related careers, or want to understand how the concepts they study can be applied to real-world engineering and technology.
