Kevin

Kevin is an experienced English Language and Literature tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, specialising in high school English, AP English, and SAT/ACT preparation. He has a strong track record of helping students improve their writing, analytical skills, and exam performance, with consistent success in international exams including BGCSE, IGCSE, and SAT

He brings a strong international background, having taught extensively in The Bahamas and worked in diplomatic and educational roles across the Caribbean and Latin America. This global experience allows him to support students from diverse academic systems and cultural backgrounds.

In addition to teaching, Kevin has worked as a Guidance Counsellor, supporting students academically and personally, helping them build confidence, improve focus, and prepare for university pathways.

Kevin takes an interactive and adaptive approach, tailoring lessons to each student’s individual needs and learning style. With experience teaching students from Grades 7–12, he understands that many learners struggle with English due to a lack of structure in writing and difficulty analysing texts. His lessons focus on building these core skills step by step.
