Dr Gareth is an experienced international educator specialising in Cambridge English Language and Literature and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. His career spans classroom teaching, school leadership, curriculum development, examination moderation, educational authorship and university-level academic supervision. Alongside his secondary school teaching, he has supervised IB Extended Essays and supported postgraduate research, academic editing and thesis development.

With extensive experience across international education systems, he brings a valuable combination of subject expertise and insight into academic assessment. He is a former National Examiner and Chief External Moderator for English in South Africa and the author of eight Cambridge IGCSE and AS English Literature study guides.
