Luke, English Second Language tutor

Luke is an experienced tutor with over five years of classroom teaching experience across Cambridge schools. He has taught learners from lower secondary through senior high school and has particular experience supporting students with Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level History and Geography, as well as English as a Second Language.

With a background in History Education, Philosophy and Political Science, Luke brings a strong academic foundation to his teaching. His lessons are structured, engaging and analytical, helping students move beyond memorising content to developing the skills required to interpret evidence, analyse historical events, evaluate geographical information and construct well-supported arguments.

He has experience teaching across Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, IEB and CAPS curricula, with his strongest senior-level experience centred on History and Geography.

He has also held a Deputy Head of Middle School position, giving him additional experience in academic leadership, learner support and curriculum delivery.

His classroom experience includes teaching within Cambridge-aligned environments, with exposure to different international and South African curricula.
