Ronald is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and former University Lecturer with over five years of combined teaching, tutoring and engineering experience. He specialises in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Mechanics, helping students develop a deep conceptual understanding while building confidence and achieving outstanding academic results.

Having taught undergraduate engineering courses and provided one-on-one academic support to students across multiple levels, Ronald has extensive experience simplifying complex concepts into clear, engaging lessons. He has taught and mentored first-, second-, third- and fourth-year engineering students, provided personalised one-on-one support in Physics and Engineering Mechanics and supervised engineering design projects where students consistently achieved high marks.

Ronald has over five years of combined teaching, tutoring and engineering experience, including more than three years as a University Lecturer and Academic Tutor in the School of Mechanical, Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Alongside his teaching career, Ronald has worked as a Mechanical Engineer within the biomedical engineering sector, bringing valuable real-world industry experience into his lessons. He was awarded a prestigious Master's scholarship by Citrus Research International and received the Ethics Warrior Award in recognition of his outstanding engineering project. His expertise spans engineering design, research, laboratory demonstrations, simulation and mentoring, enabling him to help students build both academic excellence and practical problem-solving skills.

Ronald holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, where their dissertation focused on Creep Testing of Corrugated Cartons & Industry Test Methods. They also have a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, with final year projects on Box Compression Strength Prediction and Off-Grid Refrigeration System.
